Triangulation Point is a nice place for a couple of activators to set up 2 HF stations(where I set up). I didn't go all the way to where the equipment was. There was a sign warning of RF levels so I didn't go past it.

Google Maps did a pretty good job of getting me there. It probably would be possible to drive all the up. There were other roads leading up. The way I went, the road gets really rough and steep. 4 wheel drive is a must in my opinion. High clearance would be good too. (And don't get this one confused with Triangulation Peak - W7O/CN-019.)

I didn't see any other cars but I saw dirt bikes and quads. I found a pull out to park near 45.62020 -123.63842. Hiked from there.

Google wants to send you to the right. Middle road is the road you want, as you can see from the screenshot. The middle road is gated. Other screenshot shows where I set up. There's several places to attach a pole for antenna or you can skip the pole and just string your wire across the branches of the old small trees up there.

From Portland-take HWY 6 to Wolf Creek Road and turn right.  Follow signs to Cedar Butte TH.  Continue on the road. You will come to a Y in the road near 45.58569 -123.64628, stay left.

The next Y in the road near 45.59781 -123.63688, stay left.

At 45.625854 -123.641101 you will keep left at the sharp turn and follow the road up.

You go right by the trailhead for Cedar Butte - W7O/NC-018 on the way to Triangulation - you might allow time for that peak too.
