Bill/WA7NCL and Guy/N7UN will be on a SOTA campout for a few days next week starting the 12th-14th. We've got a number of SOTA activations planned in the Randle/Packwood area, just south of RNP and SR12. We will be tent camping at local State Parks.

Looks like the weather is going to be good.  If your schedule permits for either the campout or daily SOTA activations, you are welcome to join us.

Longer term, I've got general plans for campout/SOTAxpedition late Sept. and the Olympic NP for early October with my hiking friend Paul/W6PNG.

In conjunction with the Colorado 14er Event on Aug  4th (see http://www.14er.org/ for more info), the SOTA Rocky Mountain Rendezvous the first week of August, and the ARRL UHF Contest weekend, the W7 Associations are encouraging local Activators to participate from their favorite W7 summit the weekend of Aug 3-4th! The goal is to encourage a number of activations in W7, enhance S2S opportunities within W7, and generally promote SOTA in the western states during that first week in August when the weather should be optimum. For much
